Here's a stunningly beautiful guitar from Ibanez that bears a certain resemblance to a famous model from Gibson that use the initials LP. The construction of this model also follows closely the materials used on the Gibson version with a Mahogany body and a Maple top and also an ART Mahogany set-in neck with a decorative inlaid design at the 12th fret but devoid of fret orientation markers on the Rosewood neck.

The two hum-bucking pick-ups have black matt covers and are from the Ibanez LZ-1 range with an LZ-1B at the bridge and an LZ-1N at the neck position. These are managed via two volume and a single rotary tone control, the pick-ups use active electronics that are driven by two AA batteries to give enhanced tone and volume. The bridge features the Ibanez Gibraltar III bridge and the Quick Change III tail piece - named because of its ability to be removed quickly during the re-stringing process.All hardware is in Chrome and includes the bridge, tailpiece, machine heads, strap buttons and the pick-up selector switch. The contoured body of the review model is finished in a  dazzling black finish with black bindings around the edges, however this model also comes with an all white finish.
