If you are looking for a electro acoustic guitar, with a fantastic tone at a reasonable price, the APX500 is your choice! Powered punch is guaranteed with a piezo pickup mounted under the saddle in combination with a 3-Band EQ (with integrated tuner) to deliver an accurate, responsive acoustic sound.

With the APX500, the emphasis on playability and electric guitarists appreciate the combination of handling comfort and performance power.

The Yamaha APX500 electro-acoustic has a string length of 634mm (25"), shorter than the other APX model's 650mm, and a laminated spruce top with nato back and sides with a rosewood fingerboard on a nato neck. The TM-29T tuning machines used on the APX500 have thinner buttons than the machines used on the rest of the APX and CPX range.

The System 55TA electronicc used in the Yamaha APX500 electro-acoustic features a single piezo pickup mounted under the bridge and includes a chromatic tuner, usable without a cable connected, and a one minute auto-off timer to conserve battery power. Turning the tuner on or off will not affect the APX500 output in any way.
