Opis

Altus flutes are held in the very highest esteem by professional players and technicians the world over. Now the Altus sound is available at an affordable price, thanks to the Azumi flute.

Compared to other flutes in its price range, the Azumi AZ-2000 represents outstanding value for money. Featuring an Altus Z-cut headjoint married to a silver-plated body, the tone is strong with a good range of colours. Altus have put a 95.8% "Britannia" headjoint on the AZ-2000 (as opposed to a 92.5% solid head, which other flutes at this price are supplied with), giving the flute a darker, richer tone. Tuning is excellent because of the accurate William Bennett scale, and the mechanism is strong and responsive.

The Altus Z-Cut
The Z-Cut headjoint was designed by Altus founder Shuichi Tanaka. It is handcut with a wider, rectangular shape to provide quick response with a large tone, across the range of the flute.
