All the finesse of a traditional grand piano!
The KR111’s expressive, rich piano tones, authentic keyboard touch, and luxurious exterior combine to provide an instrument that is both “grand” and “intelligent”.
It is fitted with Roland’s Progressive Hammer-Action keyboard, with the same detailed response as a grand piano’s keyboard, which also includes a heavier touch in the lower register that becomes increasingly lighter in the upper range.

Powerful new speaker system for Grand Sound
The new speaker system provides an ideal sound balance, thanks to upward-pointing tweeters and the full-range speakers in separate speaker enclosures facing you under the keyboard. In combination with the high-grade amps and high-quality output, the overall sound is both dynamic and characterized by a depth and presence one usually only expects from a superb acoustic instrument costing ten times as much. If you close your eyes and start playing, it will be extremely hard to tell the difference.

Music Assistant
180 Music Assistant registrations are provided to help you find the right accompaniment for the music you wish to perform. Easily identifiable, these registrations set up the KR111 the way it sounds best for a given piece. All you need to do, then, is to play the right chords. The accompaniment intelligently follows your lead!

Music Styles
The KR111 comes with 170 Music Styles prepared by Roland’s most talented musicians. Each Style provides an Intro, Original, Variation, Fill-In, and Ending phrase, with additional options via the Style Orchestrator buttons that allow you to add or remove certain accompaniment parts to create more intimate or bigger-sounding orchestrations in real-time.
